Me and Stampin' Up! This group photo was taken a few years ago at the SU Convention in Orlando. Although I am located in the greater Metrowest Boston area, many of us are from Massachusetts, and around the East Coast. Having said that, my group is bi-coastal so we're really lucky! Anyway, this Orlando Convention was a great getaway and a whole lot of fun to boot! I am to the right of center with the circle around my face. It's been difficult to get a group photo at other conventions! I have been a demonstrator with Stampin' Up! since 1999. Wow! I can't believe where the time has gone! Over the years, when life is good I say "Time flies when you're stamping!" And, when life is a little stressful I say "Stamping is cheaper than therapy!" Well both are true and stamping has provided me with lots of wonderful moments, great times with old and new friends, and some very exciting trips for myself and my husband.
Speaking of my husband, here is a photo of the two of us kayaking in the ocean off the coast of Sitka, Alaska.
This was taken on one of the trips that I earned as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. We have also been lucky to travel to Bermuda, Mexico, and Hawaii on their tab, not bad! We've been married nearly 20 years now and have four beautiful children. Our daughter is 16, and we have three sons, ages 14, 10, and 8. Yes, they sure keep us busy! They do help me with my SU business, and are glad that mom can chaperone the class trip and make it to their games while still being able to "bring home the bacon."
These last couple of shots show you what stamping actually looks like! There is a lot of laughing and a little bit of chaos, with a lot of support and encouragement. I think stamping must be what the quilting circles of ages past were like. We enjoy fellowship and fun, creativity and sharing. I sometimes think that it "takes a village to stamp a card (or whatever you stamp)" because the idea begins, then someone might put a new twist on it when they do it, then another from someone else. Before long, you have a cherished and beautiful piece of art to treasure. It's shared creativity and it is truly energizing!

From time to time I will update this About Me and Stampin' Up! page. I hope you enjoy it!
